Everyone at his office are very nice. They ask questions to find out more with you. The x-ray tech she got more people to help me get situated on the table and they helped me up quickly as to not cause more pain than I needed to be in. The doctor was very nice and we talked about a game plan and what I need to do before I see him again. He has an excellent bedside manner as well. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Mahoney was friendly and prepared to speak with me about my knee pain. After a short physical exam, he explained, in detail, the results of my X-ray/MRI. He gave me his opinion of how to relieve my pain. Two days later, I scheduled surgery!

Dr. Mahoney is an excellent doctor/surgeon who spends time to explain options and risks. He is an upbeat guy too - which makes visits with him better than most doctors. I have had him replace a knee and reviewing options on the other knee (six years later) we went with the Platelet-Rich Plasma injection. There are major differences in the issues involved which highlights his desire to avoid surgery - which I greatly appreciate.

Dr. Mahoney saw me one time and told me I needed total knee replacements in both knees. I had gone to my previous, who I had seen for 10 years, most recently in December 2023. He didn't think I was ready. Dr. Mahoney confirmed what I already knew, even though my previous doctor didn't think so. I would highly recommend him for your knee care.

Dr. Mahoney was highly recommended to me.. I went in for bad pain/arthritis in my knees. An X-ray was done initially and Dr. Mahoney had given me injections and they worked really well.. A few months later I decided to have knee surgery because the injections didnt feel like they were working as well as in the beginning. Best decision I could have made. I used very little pain pills because I had really no pain. I felt very fortunate. Now my other knee is hurting so hopefully will have the other knee done in the next couple of months. I have also seen Casey who is the PA working with Dr. Mahoney. He is also very knowledgeable, and I feel very comfortable being seen by him.

Dr. Mahoney did my bilateral knee replacements 7 1/2 years ago, so l chose to see him. I was able to make an appointment in a timely manner. The nurse took a thorough history and ordered x-rays. I didn' t have much wait time at all. He explained my xray results and offered a plan of care. I highly recommend Ia Ortho and Dr. Mahoney.
